44 percent of existing Android users said that they would be tempted to buy an iPhone 15 if it came with a USB-C port. In the same group, 35 percent said that their motivation would be increased just from the fact that the iPhone would become compatible with third-party chargers. The interesting aspect of the survey is Android users are inclined to shift to iPhones when Apple finally moves to USB Type-C port. However, 56 percent of Android users will not move because of universal charging technology.

Among the Android owners who would not be motivated to buy an iPhone 15 because of USB-C, a whopping 74 percent of them said that they are happy with Android and would not switch. In a group of existing Android fans, 66 percent of the existing users said that they would not be buying an iPhone 15, while 34 percent said they would upgrade to the latest model.
