Should you buy the Redmi Note 12 4G?
At its launch price of Rs 14,999, the Redmi Note 12 seemed a bit costly considering the connectivity is just limited to 4G and we are now seeing 5G phones in the similar range. However, at Rs 12,999, the phone is worth considering especially since it comes with an FHD+ AMOLED display, a large 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging and a promised upgrade to two Android versions.
However, on the flip side with Flipkart’s Big Billion Days and Amazon’s Great India sales coming up in the next few days, we are expected to get decent 5G-enabled phones with superior specifications at similar price points. Lava is also gearing up to launch a 5G phone under Rs 10,000.
So, if you’re in the market for a 5G phone under Rs 13,000, this deal is not for you but if connectivity doesn’t matter and you’re looking for good technical specs, this is a decent deal.
