Motorola today launched the Edge 40 Neo smartphone in India. It’s the second phone in the series after the Edge 40 that debuted in May this year. The Moto Edge 40 Neo is a more affordable offering in the series. It comes with a 144Hz display, 5,000mAh battery, 12GB RAM and 5G. 

Moto Edge 40 Neo price in India, sale details

Moto Edge 40 Neo starts at Rs 23,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Moto Edge 40 Neo with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 25,999. Motorola is offering the phone at a special festive price of Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999 for a limited time.

The smartphone will be available on Flipkart, Motorola.in and retail stores on September 28th at 7 pm. It is available with an exchange bonus offer of Rs 1,000 or an instant bank discount of Rs 1,000. 

Moto Edge 40 Neo specifications

  • Display: Moto Edge 40 Neo features a 6.55-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It’s a curved display with 1300 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+.
  • Processor: The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor. It’s also the first to launch with this chipset.
  • RAM and storage: The phone comes in two variants of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.
  • Cameras: It has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with Macro Vision at the back. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera on the Moto Edge 40 Neo.
  • Battery, charging: The phone also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It’s claimed to reach 50 percent charge in less than 15 minutes.
  • Software: On the software front, it runs Android 13 out-of-the-box. The Moto Edge 40 Neo is also confirmed to get two years of Android updates and three years of security updates. 
  • Colour options: The Moto Edge 40 Neo comes in three colour options of Caneel Bay, Black Beauty, and Soothing Sea. 
  • Other features: The Moto Edge 40 Neo also comes with IP68, 5G, USB Type-C port, dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, NFC, in-display fingerprint sensor, and Wi-Fi 6E.
