Apple’s upcoming iPhones are currently the top runners in the rumour mill with the new devices expected to launch in the coming weeks. At least four iPhone models are in the pipeline including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max (Ultra). The top-end models in the series, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max or iPhone 15 Ultra are said to debut in two new colour options that will accentuate their titanium finish.

Apple is rumoured to replace stainless steel for its Pro models with titanium this year. This will also lead to the replacement of old colours with new ones. The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will no longer be available in gold, and instead it will come in a new grey colour possibly called ‘Titan Gray’ according to a report by 9to5Mac. This decision behind this is the titanium finish that will look better in grey as opposed to gold that made stainless steel shine.

There’s also a new dark blue colour planned for the iPhone 15 Pro models, and this one is said to be the special colour of the year replacing purple. So instead of gold and purple, we’re possibly getting gray and dark blue colours for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. These two colours will be introduced along with the standard Silver and Space Black. With a titanium body, the Pro models will weigh lesser than the stainless steel models. This would be a major change considering how the Pro models of the past iPhones do feel quite heavy on the hands.

In addition to a new titanium finish, the iPhone 15 Pro models are also said to come with smaller bezels. Other than that, the overall design seems to be the same with the speaker grille at the bottom along with the new USB-C port, and Dynamic Island up front. Based on the latest line of leaks, it looks like only the Pro models will offer something fresh in the looks department.
