Redmi Note 13 Pro+ tipped to feature curved display and 200MP camera
After the successful Redmi Note 12 lineup, the company appears to have started working on the successor, possibly dubbed the Redmi Note 13. There are reports claiming the brand may announce the phones in October in China and later expand to more markets. Like the predecessor, the Redmi Note 13 series might include at least three models: Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Now, tipster DigitalChatStation has tipped some key hardware details of the latter.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ specifications (tipped)
- Like the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is also tipped to come with a 200MP primary camera on the back.
- The 200MP sensor is expected to offer a 4x in-sensor zoom, which should offer really impressive photos even when zoomed in.
- The handset is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
- The biggest change is the curved-edge display, which is a first in the Redmi Note series.
- The screen is expected to support a 1.5K resolution, which could be aided by a 120Hz refresh rate.
The alleged schematic of the Redmi Note 13 Pro had earlier surfaced online through the same tipster but didn’t mention the name. In the latest leak, we can see a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter and narrow bezels. On the back, we can see Xiaomi 13-inspired camera module, with triple camera sensors and an LED flash. The Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro could have a flat display, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ could be equipped with a curved display.
It appears that the high-end model in the lineup will get a premium design and hardware. This should in turn make the phone a bit costlier than the predecessor. We should know more details about the phone in the days to come.
