A new leak reveals the Moto G84 5G will be the brand’s upcoming mid-range offering in India and globally, and is expected to launch very soon. Tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed the launch timeline and some key hardware details of the phone.

According to Mukul Sharma, the Moto G84 5G will debut in India in September and later probably expand to more markets. Additionally, Mukul has tipped the storage and display specs, besides sharing an alleged render of the phone.

As per the tip, the Moto G84 5G will feature a 10-bit 120Hz pOLED display and will pack 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, that should be further expandable.

  • The Moto G84’s design looks quite premium for the segment it might be placed in.
  • There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, flat edges and narrow bezels.
  • The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge, while the SIM tray section is on the left edge.
  • The phone has a boxy design with rounded edges for better grip on hands. 
  • Flipping the phone to the back, you see a square module to house dual-camera sensors and an LED flash. We can see 50MP text engraved within the module.
  • There is also the Moto dimple on the back.
  • The USB Type-C port and speaker grills are at the bottom.
  • The Moto G84 5G can be seen in a pink-maroonish colour, which, according to Mukul, is Viva Magenta, Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2023.
  • The tipster adds the phone will come with a premium vegan leather finish.
