Honor confirms its return to India, set to launch its first smartphone in the country in 3 years
Chinese smartphone brand Honor is officially making its comeback in India after a gap of three few years and is set to relaunch its smartphone business in the country. Former Realme India head Madhav Sheth, who quit the company in June this year, is spearheading Honor’s relaunch campaign actively on social media.
On a daily basis, the company has been revealing individual letters of “HONOR,” leading up to the introduction of the brand’s fresh identity for India as “HONOR Tech”. Recently, Sheth explicitly posted a message confirming that Honor will launch their latest smartphones in India soon, after weeks of teasing.
Honor launched its last product in India in 2020. Even though it didn’t officially announce an exit, the lack of launches seemingly confirmed it. Now, three years later, unconfirmed reports claim the Honor 90, which was launched a few months ago in China, will be the company’s first smartphone in India in its second innings. Additionally, the Honor Magic Book X14 and X15 laptops have also been listed on Amazon India.
