Airtel Xstream app is now Xstream Play with new UI 19 OTT apps and more
The Airtel Xstream app, known for offering access to streaming content to Airtel cellular subscribers, has received a major update. Firstly, the app has now been renamed to Airtel Xstream Play and comes with a refreshed design. And, it brings access to a dozen new and exciting OTT platforms for customers. Here are all the details.

The new Airtel Xstream Play app has received a more user-friendly software update, which comes with better accessibility and browsing toggles. The update also brings a new name, Xstream Play, adding the justified “Play” terminology to an app that is made for streaming movies and TV shows.
Further to that, Airtel has partnered with a total of 19 new OTT apps, which will come bundled for free when you recharge your Airtel mobile with one of the Truly Unlimited plans offered by the company. These currently include the Rs 359, Rs 399, Rs 499, Rs 699, Rs 839, and Rs 999 plans. The Xstream Play access has also been extended to the new Rs 148 data plan, which offers 15GB of data, with a validity of 28 days. Do note that the access to Xstream Play is valid only for the duration of the active plans.
The new OTT apps include names like Sony LIV, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, epicON, ShemarooME, Docubay, Hungama, ShortsTV, Fancode, and SocialSwag. Additionally, you get access to a lot of popular regional content apps including ManoramaMAX, hoichoi, Chaupal, Ultra, Klikk, Dollywood Play, Nammaflix, Raj Digital TV, and Kanccha Lannka.
With this massive update, Airtel prepaid users can now get free, unlimited access to a wide variety of English and regional movies and TV shows without the need of paying for each subscription. To recall, last June, Xstream Play became the fastest growing OTT app aggregator platforms in India.
