Samsung Galaxy S23 FE tipped to launch with Exynos 2200 chipset, no Snapdragon model
Samsung is reportedly planning to launch the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone as early as July, and before the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. There have been rumours on the Galaxy S23 FE’s specifications, and how it will be a watered-down version of the flagship Galaxy S23 series. It is now tipped that the Galaxy S23 FE will launch with the in-house Exynos chip and not a Snapdragon.
The Galaxy S23 FE is said to launch with the Exynos 2200 chipset which is the first from Samsung to feature an AMD Radeon GPU. This is also the same chipset that powers the Galaxy S22, Samsung’s flagship series from last year. Samsung is expected to ship only Exynos-powered Galaxy S23 FE models and no Snapdragon models.

Here’s a look at what the Galaxy S23 FE could launch with based on leaks and rumours:
- Processor, RAM and storage: The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2200 chipset paired with 6GB + 8GB of RAM and 128GB + 256GB of onboard storage.
- Cameras: In the photography department, it could house triple rear cameras with a 50MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens. For selfies, there could be a 12MP front camera.
- Battery: The smartphone is also expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
This bit of information comes from the same tipster @Tech_Reve who earlier suggested the launch timeline for the Galaxy S23 FE. Samsung is reportedly pushing ahead the launch of Galaxy S23 FE to make up for the declining sale of the Galaxy S23 series. So we could see the launch taking place sometime in July or August.
