As for the price, the Ola S1 Air was initially launched with a 2.5kWh battery pack and was priced at an introductory price of Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom). However, in an event in February, the Bengaluru-based EV company decided to scrap the initial Ola S1 Air variants and standardised its lineup by offering 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh battery. The e-scooter now costs Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom) for the base variant, while the top and mid-range variants are priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,09,000 (ex-showroom) respectively.
Ola S1 Air specifications
The new Ola S1 Air looks exactly the same as its elder siblings: Ola S1 and S1 Pro. However, it could see minor alterations depending on the tests that are conducted. The two-wheeler will be powered by a 4.5kW motor, which is rated to offer a top speed of 85Kmph. The 2kWh variant will deliver a range of 85 km on a single charge, whereas the 3kWh and 4kWh variants are said to have a range of 125 km and 165 km between charges.
Other key features include a flat floorboard, 34L under-seat storage, LED lighting, and a digital dashboard. The Ola S1 Air will be available in five shades, namely Coral Glam, Neo Mint, Jet Black, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver. Customers who have booked the 2.5kWh variant will be upgraded to the 3kWh variant for no additional cost.
