Samsung Galaxy A24 spotted on SIRIM certification, launch imminent
Samsung is reportedly in the works to launch its Samsung Galaxy A24 in the market. Not too long ago, we spotted the Samsung Galaxy A24 on the company’s Indian website, as its support page went live ahead of the official release. Today, we have been able to track the device on the Malaysian SIRIM certification website, which again hints that its launch is imminent. Let’s take a look.
Samsung Galaxy A24 visits SIRIM certification ahead of launch
As seen in the SIRIM certification database screenshot above, the Samsung Galaxy A24 (with the model number Samsung SM-A245F/DSN) has received the certification earlier this month. The certification confirms that the Samsung Galaxy A24 will be a dual-SIM handset and might soon launch in several Asian markets, including India. Sadly enough, the certification listing fails to tell us anything about the specifications and features of the device, but much has already been leaked in the past.
Samsung Galaxy A24 specifications (expected)
The Samsung Galaxy A24 is said to come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch at the top. The notch is tipped to house a 13MP selfie snapper. At the back, the Samsung Galaxy A24 will reportedly make room for a 50MP main camera with OIS support, a 5MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
In the software department, the Samsung Galaxy A24 is said to boot the latest Android 13-based OneUI 5.0 custom skin out of the box. Coming to the battery of the device, the Samsung Galaxy A24 is tipped to offer a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy A24 will likely feature an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor, which could be coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard memory.
