Redmi Note 12 4G new colour option teased ahead of India launch later this month
Redmi Note 12 is set to launch in India on March 30th and will probably be the cheapest Note 12-series model in the country, which already has three models. This will be the first 4G-enabled phone in the series. Now, while we wait for the official announcement, Sandeep Sharma of Redmi India has teased a new colour option for the Redmi Note 12 4G. The Redmi Note 12 series in India already has the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G
The Redmi Note 12 4G teaser image shows the new colour variant, which appears to be a combination of multiple shades, including Blue, Pink and Gold mixing into each other to become a new unique hue. This makes the phone look stand out among the range of ordinary colours.

Redmi Note 12 4G new colour
Besides the impressive new colour, the teaser image shows the regular rectangular module that houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash. We see the text ’50MP’ engraved within the same module. The SIM tray section appears to be on the left edge. That’s pretty much it about the design that is revealed via the teaser image.
Redmi Note 12 4G specifications (expected)
According to the specifications confirmed via the microsite on the Xiaomi India website, the Redmi Note 12 4G would come with a Super AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and slim bezels. The phone will ship with a 3.5mm audio jack, an IR blaster, and a secondary microphone for noise cancellation during video recording.
The handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC paired with up to 11GB RAM, including virtual RAM. There will be a 50MP primary camera sensor on the back. The Redmi Note 12 4G is confirmed to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
In comparison, the Redmi Note 11 shipped with a slightly less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and came with a slower 90Hz refresh rate, although with a super AMOLED panel. The Redmi Note 11 4G had the same 50MP primary camera on the back and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It appears that Redmi Note 12 4G will see performance upgrades in comparison to Redmi Note 11 4G.
