OnePlus 11’s rear glass cracks in durability test, but what happens next will surprise you: watch video
After testing several OnePlus devices, YouTuber Zack Nelson of JerryRigEverything has come up with a durability test of the latest OnePlus flagship smartphone. This time, he rigorously tests the new OnePlus 11 to see if it will perform better than its predecessors. The video begins by stating that the OnePlus 10T could not survive the durability testing, snapping completely right beneath the camera housing. The previous OnePlus 10 Pro met a similar fate, which does not bode well for OnePlus. Let us see how the OnePlus 11 performed.
OnePlus 11 durability test
Things get off to a good start, as the OnePlus 11 is complimented for its design, including the return of the alert slider and the circular camera island. The screen passed the burn test for more than 50 seconds without damage, which is noteworthy. The next step was to test the device’s durability by breaking it with bare hands.
Since the previous OnePlus smartphone was already smashed in half, the YouTuber demonstrated that the glass rear cover had cracks all over it this time. The metal frame, on the other hand, can resist the bending power of the hand without breaking or bending. As it bends forward and backwards, the smartphone strains to keep itself together. The Gorilla Glass 5 on the rear fractures in all directions. However, the Gorilla Glass Victus protecting the display appears to hold up significantly better under strain. This phone does better.
