Google Pixel 7a specifications leaked; wireless charging, Tensor G2 chipset, 64MP camera, and more in tow
Pixel 7a is rumoured to be the upcoming mid-range offering from Google. The handset is speculated to launch at Google I/O 2023 on May 10th. Ahead of that, tipster Debayan Roy has revealed key specs of Pixel 7a. Per the tipster, the 7a could be the first mid-range smartphone from Google with wireless charging support. The handset is also said to come with the flagship Tensor G2 chipset, 64MP primary camera at the back, 90Hz OLED display, and more. Here’s everything we know about Pixel 7a specifications so far:

As revealed by the tipster, the Pixel 7a will launch with a 6.1-inch FHC+ 90hz OLED display. The handset will have the same Tensor G2 chipset that is on Pixel 7 series ticking at its core. The chipset will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage. If previous reports are anything to go by, the handset could be equipped with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage onboard.
In optics, the Pixel 7a is said to feature dual rear cameras comprising 64MP Sony IMX787 primary sensor and a 12MP secondary sensor. There is no word on the front camera yet, but rumours are that it could feature the 10.8MP lens as the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro. Besides this, the phone will boot Android 13 out of the box. The handset is said to feature 5W wireless charging solution.
That’s all the Pixel 6a specifications we can divulge at the moment. The handset’s battery capacity and wired charging tech are still under wraps. As for the design, the phone is expected to feature a punch-hole screen with a rectangular strip-style camera island at the upper side of the rear panel, similar to the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Plus.
