Google Pixel 6 is available for under Rs 40,000 on Amazon India, but you shouldn’t buy it: here’s why
The Google Pixel 6 price in India is currently discounted for Indian consumers. Pixel smartphones are loved by many because of their design, sharp display, camera customisable interface, and a lot more. However, if you are planning to buy the Google Pixel 6 from Amazon India, which is available for under Rs 40,000, it might not be a good deal for you. Here’s why.
Google Pixel 6 in India
According to the Amazon India website, the Google Pixel 6 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 37,999. Users can also avail other bank discounts mentioned on the website.
Back in 2021, Google released the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro at a starting price of $599 (nearly Rs 50,000) and $899 (approx Rs 74,415), respectively. The phones were launched globally, but they never made it to India. One of the reasons the tech giant gave was that there were problems with global demand and supply. Later, in 2022, the company launched the Google Pixel 6a in India. This year
The Amazon page says that the discounted Google Pixel 6 is an imported product and comes with a one-year warranty from the seller. Keeping in mind that it’s a Google-owned smartphone, it’s important to note that the tech giant isn’t offering any warranty on the product, and the seller has pretty few good reviews on Amazon. Therefore, you can skip the Google Pixel 6 and ideally go for the Google Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro, which was unveiled in India in the third quarter of 2022.
