Ampere Primus electric scooter has officially been launched in India. The new EV from the OEM has been priced over a lakh and comes with a peak range of 77 Kmph. Key Amepre Primus specs include above 100 km of range between charges, an LCD screen, LED lights, reverse mode, and three riding modes: Power, City, and Eco. Ampere Primus electric scooter price in India, availability
The Amepre Primus electric scooter has been introduced in India and will be sold at the company’s dealerships beginning next month for a price of Rs 1,10,000 (ex-showroom). Ampere Primus reservations are now open for a reasonable cost of Rs 499 online and through the company’s dealerships.
The scooter comes in a two-tone design with matte panels and four colour options: Himalayan White, Havelock Blue, Buck Black, and Royal Orange.

A mid-mounted motor with a maximum output of 4 kW powers the new Ampere Primus e-scooter, and a belt final drive sends the force from the motor to the rear wheel. The Primus, according to Ampere, can reach a top speed of 77 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kph in 4.2 seconds. In addition to a Reverse mode, the Ampere Primus has three riding modes: Power, City, and Eco.
A 3kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery powers the Primus e-scooter and is claimed to give it a range of 107km in Power mode on a single charge. However, the company hasn’t provided an exact number, only that the range will be greater in Eco mode while charging the battery using a standard 5A outlet will take 5 hours.
In terms of features, the Primus gets a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and notification alerts via the Ampere app. On both wheels, there are drum brakes, a rear spring, and telescopic front forks. The styling features include a step-up seat, a single-piece pillion grabrail, an apron-mounted front turn indicator, and a tall headlight.
