OnePlus 11R India launch imminent as phone receives BIS, fast charging revealed via CQC
Not too long ago, we exclusively reported that the production of the OnePlus 11R 5G had begun in India. We also spotted the moniker of the device in the company’s official website source code. Today, the OnePlus 11R 5G and its Chinese counterpart, the OnePlus Ace 2, have been spotted on a couple of certification websites, which not only hint an imminent launch, but also reveal the fast charging capabilities of the device(s). Let’s take a look.
OnePlus 11R 5G/OnePlus Ace 2 receives BIS, CQC certifications
As seen in the BIS certification image above, the OnePlus 11R 5G (with the model number OnePlus CPH2487) has recently been certified by the Indian BIS certification authority, which suggests that the launch of the device could be nearing. Sadly enough, the BIS listing does not tell us anything about the specifications of the device.
That said, the OnePlus Ace 2 (model number OnePlus PHK110) has also been spotted on the China Quality Centre certification website today, which reveals that the device will feature 100W (11VDC, 9.1A Max) fast charging support. If the company’s past trends are anything to go by, the OnePlus Ace 2 will be renamed for India and will launch as the OnePlus 11R 5G in the country, so we can expect the OnePlus 11R 5G to come with 100W fast charging support.
OnePlus 11R 5G specifications (expected)
The OnePlus 11R 5G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which will likely be paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. In terms of OS, the device will likely boot Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1 skin out of the box.
Coming to the cameras of the device, the OnePlus 11R 5G is rumoured to flaunt a 50MP main camera, a 12MP secondary camera, and a 2MP tertiary camera. At the front, the device is tipped to house a 16MP selfie shooter. The device is expected to retain an Alert Slider and an IR Blaster. Lastly, the device is said to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
