iQOO 11 series India launch timeline tipped: expected specifications
Vivo sub-brand iQOO launched the iQOO 10 and iQOO 10 Pro earlier this year in China. Now, it is said to be prepping for the launch of its next flagship lineup, the iQOO 11 series, featuring the iQOO 11 and iQOO 11 Pro in December in India. The launch timeline has been revealed by tipster Abhishek Yadav. The series is rumoured to first launch in China before getting launched in India.
A report in Pricebaba earlier also revealed the official monikers and model numbers of the upcoming smartphones. The Indian variants will have I2209 and I2212 as the official model numbers for iQOO 11 and iQOO 11 Pro respectively. However, the I2209 model number (vanilla variant) was also seen with the official moniker of the iQOO 10 in the IMEI database. Therefore, it is rumoured that the Vivo-sub brand may officially launch the iQOO 11 in India after rebranding it as the iQOO 10. It is to be noted that the original iQOO 10 launched as the iQOO 9T in India.
iQOO 11 series specifications (expected)
The iQOO 11 is said to flaunt a 6.78-inch flat E6 AMOLED display and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 100W or 120W charging, while the iQOO 11 Pro will flaunt a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 LTPO panel with curved edges that supports 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro variant will pack a 4,700mAh battery with 200W charging.
Both phones are expected to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and run on the Android 13 OS with the OriginOS Ocean UI on top. The series is rumoured to include up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Moving to optics, the iQOO 11 i.e., the vanilla variant is rumoured to have a 50MP Samsung GN5 main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. It is expected to have a 16MP front snapper. The Pro variant is said to feature a triple camera setup: a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 14.6 MP telephoto camera.
