A brand-new PS5 restock date for India was apparently revealed yesterday. Just days after the previous restock, the PS5 restock will be held on Flipkart today i.e, October 21st. As spotted by Vinayak Soni, the console will be available to pre-book on Flipkart. Soni has shared a screenshot of the PS5 restock date apparently taken from Flipkart’s website. It’s unclear whether the standard version of PS5 or PS5 Digital Edition will be available during today’s restock. That being said, it’s great to see frequent PS5 restocks in India now, hinting at improved availability in the country.

Where to buy PS5 in India

Today’s PS5 restock seems exclusive to Flipkart as there aren’t any listings on other retailer websites. Even Sony’s official retail website, ShopAtSC, has no banner regarding the restock. Since it is unclear how many PS5 units will be available and considering Flipkart’s history with the sale of premium products, it is recommended to log in on the website a few minutes before 12 PM for faster checkout. However, if you still miss out on pre-booking a PS5, there will be another restock soon that will take place on several retailer websites. You can also check out some local retail and electronics stores as they could have some PS5 stocks with them.

Both PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition have similar specs with the exception of a Blu-Ray disc drive. The standard PS5 has a Blu-Ray disc drive, while the Digital Edition doesn’t. The console is powered by an octa-core CPU with Zen 2 cores to run at 10.28 TFLOPS and an AMD RDNA 2 GPU. PS5 comes with 16GB GDDR6 RAM and 825GB of internal storage. You can also expand the storage using a compatible PS5 SSD that can be purchased separately. You will be able to play PS4 games on the PS5 as the console is backward compatible.
