Moto E22s tipped to launch on October 17th in India: Key specifications, features, and more

Motorola has been working on the Moto E22 smartphone lineup and recent leaks suggest a launch is around the corner. Moto E22s has now been tipped to get a premium-looking design and is due for a launch on October 17th. The new leaks also suggest a high refresh rate display and Android 12 mobile OS on the new affordable smartphone. Earlier this month, Motorola also launched the Moto E32 and Moto G37 smartphones in India.

Moto E22s specifications tipped ahead of launch

Motorola E22s launch has been tipped to take place on October 17th, 2022. The leaks that come from tipster Mukul Sharma via a tweet, highlight some key specifications ahead of its launch on Monday.

The affordable Moto E22s has been tipped to get a 90Hz high refresh rate display. The display panel is expected to use IPS LCD technology. It is also expected to run on the Android 12 mobile OS with optimisations made specific to make it run better. The device has also been tipped to get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The device will be packaged in an IP52 weatherproofing certified body and will get a premium design to go with it.

Last month, the Moto E22 was launched for the European markets and gets a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC paired with a sole 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage variant. The dual camera system comes with a 16MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Front camera duties are handled by a 5MP shooter. The Moto E22 relies on a 4,020mAh battery with a standard 10W charging speed.

The Moto E22 in Europe commands a price of EUR 139.99 (approx. Rs 11,000).
