Google Pixel 7 series is scheduled to launch globally and in India later today. The lineup will include two models: the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. We will also witness the unveiling of the Google Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro as well. The phones are confirmed to arrive with the second generation Tensor chipset, up to triple cameras, a large 5000mAh battery and much more. For the first time since the Pixel 3 series, Google is unveiling the numbered Pixel series in India.

The Pixel 7 series will be available via Flipkart and the prices are expected to be in range of Rs 60,000 and Rs 80,000, but we will only know the actual cost when they’re launched later today.

Pixel 7 series launch time: The Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will launch in India later today and the live stream will begin at 7:30 PM IST. The phones will be up for pre-orders via Flipkart today itself at 8:15 PM IST.

Pixel 7 series price: The Google Pixel 7 price in the USA is said to be the same as the Pixel 6, $599 for the base 128GB storage variant. This roughly translates to around Rs 48,900. We can speculate the cost in India of the phone should be around Rs 60,000, including taxes and other expenses.

On the other hand, the Pixel 7 Pro is expected to come with at a price of $899, which roughly translates to Rs 73,000 but considering the import costs and taxes, we can speculate the price in India could be around Rs 80,000.

Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro specifications

Google Pixel 7: Google Pixel 7 is said to flaunt a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. It is powered by the Google Tensor G2 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The phone runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.

The Pixel 7 has a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is an 11MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There is a 4,700mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging and will be equipped with Google’s Titan security chip.

Google Pixel 7 Pro specifications: The Pixel 7 Pro, on the other hand, is said to come with a 6.7-inch LTPO QHD+ display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Tensor G2 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

In terms of optics, the Google Pixel 7 Pro will come with a triple rear camera, with a 48MP telephoto lens, a 50MP primary shooter, and a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens. Up front, the Pixel 7 Pro will also have the same 11MP selfie snapper.

The phone is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
