Moto Edge 2022 has been launched in the US as the latest premium mid-range offering from the brand. It is the world’s first phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 chipset that is built on the 6nm processor and should offer top-of-the-line performance. The Moto Edge 2022 offers a 91.32 percent screen-to-body ratio, runs on Android 12 OS and the company is promising 3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of bi-monthly security updates. It has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, triple cameras and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

The Moto Edge (2022) will also have a subsequent AT&T, Verizon, Spectrum Mobile, US Cellular, and Visible. It will also be available universally unlocked at BestBuy, Amazon, and Motorola websites at a limited time launch price of $499.99 (approx Rs 39,900).

The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 6nm processor with ARM Mali-G610 MC3 GPU for graphics. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage that may not be further expandable.

The Moto Edge (2022) runs on Android 12 OS with MyUX custom skin out of the box and is equipped with stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, 3 microphones, and an IP52 rating for splash resistance. It measures 160.86×74.24×7.99mm and weighs 170 grams. Connectivity options include 5G sub-6 + mmWave, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
