iQOO 9T YouTube unboxing video surfaces before launch: design, specs revealed
iQOO 9 series launched in India earlier this year and included iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, and iQOO 9 SE. However, it looks like the brand is all set to add another model in the series, the iQOO 9T. It is listed on Amazon, which hints the iQOO 9T could be a rebrand of the iQOO 10 as it has a similar design. This is also the first time we get to see the rear camera module’s design and iQOO is continuing its partnership with BMW Motorsport.
Now, while we wait for the official announcement, the iQOO 9T’s complete rear design and specifications have been revealed in an unboxing video, courtesy YouTube channel Tech Burner. This confirms the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
iQOO 9T design
The unboxing video showcases the iQOO 9T’s complete rear design. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. The phone will be available in two variations: one in a black colour option and the BMW Motorsport edition. Both have a dual-tone design, which looks quite attractive.
The Black colour option has plain Black colour with iQOO branding and there is a large module on the top that has a glossy-glass finish, V1+ imaging chip text en and carbon-fibre texture. Within the large module on the back, there is a rectangle array that houses triple camera sensors and LED flash.
On the other hand, the BMW Motorsport edition has a dual-tone design. The top module is plain black in colour with a similar camera arrangement. Below the module, it has White colour with a BMW stripe that has iQOO branding. However, we don’t get to see the front design but we believe the iQOO 9T will have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and narrow bezels.
iQOO 9T specifications
The iQOO 9T is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset, which is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It will have a V1+ imaging chipset for better images, which will be paired with a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor. The handset will have support for 120W fast charging support.
As for the other specifications, the iQOO 9T is said to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will pack up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Moving to optics, the iQOO 9T is said to come with a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP UW sensor, and a 12MP third sensor. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It is said to have a 4,700mAh battery.
