iQOO 9T with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor visits Google Play Console ahead of India launch

iQOO is gearing up for the launch of its iQOO 9T smartphone in India. In all likelihood, the device will launch in the country on July 28th, 2022 and will become the brand’s first to come equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Ahead of the launch, we have spotted the iQOO 9T on the Google Supported Devices list and the Google Play Console listing, which reveal some key specifications of the device.
Front look revealed via Google listing
As seen in the images above, this is what the iQOO 9T will look like from the front. The device will feature a centrally-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Moving on to the specifications, the Google Play Console listing reveals that the iQOO 9T will feature 8GB RAM. There will, however, be more RAM variants of the device as well. Under the hood, the iQOO 9T will come powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, paired with Adreno 730 GPU. The device will have a Full HD+ display with a 1,080 x 2,400 pixel resolution and a 440ppi pixel density. Lastly, the iQOO 9T (model number I2201i) will run Android 12 out of the box.
iQOO 9T specifications (expected)
The iQOO 9T is said to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ E5 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which will likely be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard memory. The iQOO 9T will boot Android 12-based FunTouchOS 12 skin out of the box.
In terms of cameras, we can expect the iQOO 9T to feature a 50MP + 13MP + 12MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP front camera. Lastly, the device is tipped to come with a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
