Google Pixel 6a launched in India after debuting at the I/O 2022 developers conference. The handset has a price tag of Rs 43,999 and is available for pre-order along with some launch offers. It is the first Pixel phone to launch in India in two years and comes with the in-house Tensor chipset and a 60Hz AMOLED display with symmetrical bezels. The handset features 12MP dual cameras on the back and an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.

The Google Pixel 6a has a centre-positioned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera, a horizontal stripe to house the dual camera lenses, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, and Android 12 OS.

Does Google Pixel 6a come with a charger in the box?

The Google Pixel 6a doesn’t come with a charger in the box. The contents include Pixel 6a, Type-C to Type-C cable, USB A to Type-C adapter, SIM ejector tray and user manual. Google Pixel 6a supports a maximum charging speed of up to 18W only, which is quite slow and users will have to purchase an 18W adapter separately.

Google Pixel 6a price in India

Google Pixel 6a price in India is Rs 43,999 for the single 6GB/128GB is available in a single variant. The company is offering an instant discount of Rs 4,000 via Axis bank card, which brings down the price to Rs 39,999. It comes in Chalk and Charcoal colour options. The handset will be on sale from July 28th.

The Google Pixel 6a flaunts a 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR, always-on display with now playing, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powering the phone is an in-house Tensor chipset coupled with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB storage. It runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.

Moving to optics, the Pixel 6a features a dual-camera setup on the back, comprising a 12.2MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It has 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. 

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 LE, GPS, and a USB Type C port. A 4306mAh battery with 18W fast charging support takes care of the battery needs. It is equipped with an under-display fingerprint sensor for security, stereo speakers, a Titan M2 security chip and dual microphones.
