OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro prices in India have been dropped by Rs 5,000. The drop comes right after OnePlus launched its OnePlus 10 Pro in India. The new prices of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are already updated on OnePlus’s official website and Amazon store. Users can also purchase the phones at the new price from offline retail stores. The handsets, to recall, are last year’s flagship offering, with Snapdragon 888 SoC ticking at their core, Hasselblad cameras, and more. OnePlus 9 5G 8GB RAM and 128GB variant is now available at Rs 44,999, down from its original price of Rs 49,999. The high-end 12GB RAM/256GB variant of the handset is now available at Rs 49,999 instead of Rs 54,999. The new price is effective for all colour units of the OnePlus 9.

Similarly, the OnePlus 9 Pro also gets a Rs 5,000 drop for each storage unit. The handset initially debuted, starting at Rs 64,999. However, after the price drops, the 8GB RAM/128GB model is available at Rs 59,999, while the 12GB RAM/256GB model costs Rs 64,999. The price drop is effective for all three colour options of the OnePlus 9 Pro.

Having said that, the price drop on the OnePlus 9 Pro and the 9 Pro seems to be for the offline market. Online via the company’s e-store and Amazon.in, the regular OnePlus 9 is available for as low as Rs 40,599, while the OnePlus 9 Pro costs Rs 54,199.

OnePlus 9: The OnePlus 9 has a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device draws power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. OnePlus 9 packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 65T fast charging.

Moving to optics, the OnePlus 9 has Hasselblad triple cameras on the back, including a 48MP primary camera, a 50MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP mono camera. OnePlus 9 boots Android 11-based Oxygen OS out of the box and has an under-display fingerprint reader for security.

OnePlus 9 Pro: OnePlus 9 Pro has a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display, whose AMOLED LTPO display supports 1,440×3,216 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 3D Corning Gorilla Glass layer. The device’s heart is a Snapdragon 888 5G chipset paired up to 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage. The 9 Pro packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast wired and 50W wireless charging support.

The OnePlus 9 Pro comes with quad cameras at the rear, including a 48MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto shooter, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. It has a 16MP camera for selfies and video chats on the front, housed in a punch-hole cutout. OnePlus 9 Pro boots Android 11-based Oxygen OS out of the box and has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
