[Exclusive] OnePlus 10R full specifications revealed: MediaTek Dimensity 8100, 150W charging, and more
The OnePlus 10R is widely believed to arrive by May, after the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite and Nord 2T, if a leaked roadmap is to be believed. The OnePlus 10R will replace the OnePlus 9R and will be a lower-end version of the OnePlus 10 Pro. Now, 91mobiles exclusively brings you the complete OnePlus 10R specifications, courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar. We learn about the device’s chipset, display, cameras, fast charging, and more. Based on what we have learned, it appears the OnePlus 10R could be a rebrand of the recently launched Realme GT Neo 3. The handset goes by the codename ‘pickle’ internally.
OnePlus 10R specifications
The OnePlus 10R will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, Yogesh has told 91mobiles. MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset will power the device. The upcoming OnePlus smartphone will be offered in 8GB and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM options along with 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 in-built storage, respectively.
It seems OnePlus 10R will be the first phone in the number series to not offer the Alert Slider. The device will also drop the 3.5mm audio jack. It will come with stereo speakers and Dolby Audio support.
OnePlus 10R specs
- 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate
- MediaTek Dimensity 8100
- Up to 12GB RAM, 256GB storage
- 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple caameras
- 16MP front camera
- 4,500mAh battery, 150W fast charging
As for the cameras, the OnePlus 10R will feature a triple rear camera system that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide Sony IMX355 sensor, and a 2MP Macro. There is a 16MP S5K3P9SP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Expect a 4,500mAh battery with 150W fast charging support, similar to what we saw on the Realme GT Neo 3. OnePlus Nord 3 could be another OnePlus phone with 150W charging speed.
Like the Realme GT Neo 3, the OnePlus 10R will also get a version that offers a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
We have a few more details to share. The OnePlus 10R will ship with Android 12-based OxygenOS 12. The phone will also feature Gorilla Glass on the front and back, High-Res Audio support, and NFC.
OnePlus 10R design
According to a report from Pricebaba, the OnePlus 10R will be the first OnePlus phone to come with a centre-positioned hole-punch camera. Historically, all OnePlus phones have had a corner hole-punch cutout. The power button is on the right, while the volume rocker is on the left. The render reiterates that there won’t be an Alert Slider.
The rear camera island is quite identical to the Realme GT Neo 3, which makes us believe the OnePlus phone is indeed a rebrand of the Realme phone. There’s a large primary sensor on the top and two regular-size lenses beside each other at the bottom.
How OnePlus 10R compares to OnePlus 9R
OnePlus 9R was the company’s budget OnePlus 9-series model last year. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is widely regarded as one of the best high-end processors from last year that didn’t cause heating or throttling issues. In comparison, the OnePlus 10R will ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. Both have an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the OnePlus 10R has a slightly larger 6.7-inch panel compared to a 6.55-inch on the 9R.
OnePlus 9R offers quad rear cameras, with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with OIS, a 16MP Sony IMX481 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP monochrome sensor. While the OnePlus 10R will feature a 50MP triple camera system. The most noticeable upgrade will be the support for 150W fast charging on the OnePlus 10R compared to the 65W on the OnePlus 9R.
