Wordle Answer (February 9th): The answer for today’s Wordle is Humor
Wordle is the new internet sensation these days. Everyone is out there trying to guess the five-letter word, day in and day out. What makes this game irresistible is its gameplay. It’s quite basic, which means people across all age groups can play, and you only get to guess one game per day. The latter ensures that you are not bored of the game. That said, it can get quite tough to guess the correct word sometimes. If you are stuck in a similar situation, here’s an article that tells you how to find Wordle answer along with today’s Wordle answer.
How to find Wordle answer
It’s pretty simple. Exhaust all your attempts. Make six wrong guesses, and Wordle will automatically show you the correct result. However, this will reflect on your result as a failed attempt (unless you are playing the game in incognito mode).
Now, if you don’t want to go through all this, here’s today’s wordle answer.
Wordle Today Answer (February 9th)
The answer for today’s Wordle is Humor.
What does the word ‘Humor’ mean?
Humor is the ability to be amused by something seen, heard, or thought about, sometimes causing you to smile or laugh.
How to play Wordle
The rules to play Wordle are quite simple and straightforward.
- Every day, you need to guess which five-letter word is the word of the day on the game. en. You have six tries to get the correct answer. The answer is the same for everyone, so be careful of spoilers!
- After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow, or grey colour: green indicates that the letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, and grey indicates it is not in the answer at all.
- The answer may have duplicate letters, such as “n” in “bunny”, and the colour-coded responses do not give a clue about additional uses of such duplicated letters, and only provide you with the best-answer clue for each guessed word.
Some tips and tricks
If you are new to Wordle, here are some tips and tricks that you can follow to guess the right word:
- First up, make sure your opening word is robust and strong. Make sure to use lots of vowels (A, E, I, O and U), and popular consonants (B, G, H etc.) on your first guess, as they will likely be in the answer for that day.
- Sometimes you might be thinking too hard to attempt and guess uncommon words. Don’t make this mistake! More often than not they will be pretty ordinary five-letter words you’d use in your regular day-to-day activities.
- The last tip will be… PRACTICE. Practice like anything, playing every day should improve your score over time. What might have taken you all six guesses to get the word of the day may turn into two or three tries. Don’t give up.
- If you want to practice and have missed the old Wordle games, visit this Wordle Archive, where you can access all the past Wordles.
- Also, if you are having difficulty seeing the green and yellow letters, you can turn on the “Color Blind Mode” in settings. Click the small grey gear in the top right of the website to access the settings. Toggle on the Colour Blind mode, which will change the yellow and green letters to orange and blue, respectively.
Wordle alternatives
Like every famous game, Wordle also has several copycat games on the web. They are also not bad, so you can check them out.
Word Master
This is a clone of Wordle, if your luck runs out on Wordle, you can hop over here. However, it isn’t as fun as Wordle. The UI seems dated, and it appears to be buggy. I couldn’t proceed to the next word for some reason. And, it also lacks the colour-blind mode. One advantage is that you can choose the difficulty level between easy, normal, and hard.
