Realme 9 Pro+ camera samples: holds a lot of promise
Cameras have become a defining trait that several smartphone OEMs are relying on to differentiate their products. There is a sea of smartphones with different camera configurations, with the brands applying various computational photography algorithms to provide the best photos possible from that rectangular slab in your pocket. Realme is coming out with its latest smartphone as part of its signature number series in the form of the Realme 9 Pro+ and the company has stressed on some major camera improvements.
Now at the moment, I’m not at liberty to discuss the exact specifications of the optics being employed on the device but I can, however, show you several sample shots and I have to say that the device holds a lot of promise. Most of the images taken from the smartphone deal with daylight conditions and it is clear that Realme has spent a considerable amount of time and effort to craft each intricate detail. While I will need to assess the Realme 9 Pro+’s photo-taking capabilities more comprehensively via a full review, I do feel that from my initial assessment, the device has a near flagship-level camera experience.
While the images are slightly compressed, you can see how vibrant and rich the colours are while the dynamic range is quite wide. Detailing is sharp and exposure is controlled despite the bright sunny afternoon. Of course, these are just my impressions of the phone’s cameras and I will have to test them more thoroughly in the full review. Stay tuned.
