Infinix Zero 5G set to launch in India on February 14th: MediaTek Dimensity 900, 5,000mAh battery, and more
Infinix has finally confirmed the Indian launch of its Infinix Zero 5G. The brand will launch its first-ever 5G smartphone in the country on February 14th, 2022. The device will sell in India via Flipkart. The microsite for the Infinix Zero 5G has already been made live, which confirms its launch date and showcases its Black colour variant. The Infinix Zero 5G will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display.
Infinix Zero 5G India launch confirmed
The brand has started teasing the arrival of its Infinix Zero 5G in India. The tweet embedded above showcases the Yellow colour variant of the device, thereby confirming that the device will launch at least in two colour variants in the country. The tweet further confirms that the Infinix Zero 5G will feature 13 5G bands. Lastly, the tweet contains the link to the Flipkart microsite, that confirms the February 14th launch date of the device.
Infinix Zero 5G specifications
Starting with the display of the device, the Infinix Zero 5G will likely sport a large 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 1,080 × 2,460 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is going to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, paired with UFS3.1 storage.
For photography, the Infinix Zero 5G will come with a triple rear camera setup. The device will most likely feature a 48MP main camera, an ultra-wide angle lens, and a telephoto lens. In terms of battery life, the device is rumoured to sport a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. Lastly, the device is reported to boot Android 11-based XOS skin out of the box.
