Honda Activa E India launch
Hondo will set into the EV scooter segment in India with its most popular model Honda Activa. The Honda Activa E is said to come with battery swapping technology, which will be convenient for buyers as they don’t have to install a charging point or rush to the power station and wait while their scooter gets charged. They would be able to easily walk into a nearby Honda showroom or dealership to swap their dead batteries with charged ones at a nominal fee. The model is likely to be similar to Bounce Infinity E1.
The Honda Activa E will compete with the likes of Ola S1, Bajaj Chetak, and Hero Electric NYX HX, among other EVs currently available in the EV scooter market. Speaking of competitors, Hero is all set to debut its new EV scooter next month. Now, sensing an opportunity, Honda could announce its Honda Activa E to give the other automobile giants tough competition.
