2022 is finally here and smartphone manufacturers are preparing to unveil a bunch of new smartphones this year. It seems like the next set of mid-rangers will be closer to flagship-grade than ever before. In 2021, we saw some incredible mid-rangers like Redmi Note 10 Pro, Mi 11 Lite, POCO X3 Pro, OnePlus Nord 2, Realme 8, Moto G51, and more. Now, it’s time for an upgrade, and in 2022 we are expecting some of the exciting mid-range lineups return with some new smartphones. Here are some of the most popular upcoming mid-range smartphones launching in India.
Redmi Note 11 series
Last year, Xiaomi knocked it out of the park with the Redmi Note 10 series. The Redmi Note 10 trio, including the Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, were among the best smartphones of their category, beating the competition to the punch. The successor to Redmi Note 10 series, aka Redmi Note 11 series, is expected to come to India in a couple of months. The Redmi Note 11 series has been already launched in China in October.
As per rumours, the Redmi Note 11 series will be arriving in India in early 2022, including Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. Xiaomi seems to be working on the Redmi Note 11 series for India from scratch since the ones launched in China are expected to launch in India with different names. For example, the vanilla Redmi Note 11 launched in India as the Redmi Note 11T. At the same time, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ are rumoured to launch in India as Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.
