Vodafone Idea (Vi) discontinues Rs 501 plan with Disney+ Hotstar benefit

After removing, Rs 601 and Rs 701 prepaid recharge plans with Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription, Vodafone Idea (Vi) has now discontinued the Rs 501 plan as well. The Rs 501 plan also offered bundled one-year Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription. Now, Vodafone Idea (Vi) has only two recharge plans that come with a free Disney+Hotstar Mobile subscription worth Rs 901 and Rs 3,099. Earlier this month, Jio and Airtel also discontinued recharge plans offering free Disney+ Hotstar subscription. Jio removed its Rs 499, Rs 666, Rs 888, and Rs 2,499 plans, while Airtel removed its Rs 398, Rs 499, and Rs 558 plans.

The Rs 501 Vi recharge plan was the cheapest from the telco that offered a free one-year Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription. The recharge pack offered 100GB of data, unlimited talk time, and 100 SMS/day for 28 days of validity. Additional benefits included an extra 16GB of data, unlimited data from 12 AM – 6 AM, data delight, weekend data rollover and Unlimited and free access to Vi movies and TV.

Current Vi plans with bundled Disney+ Hotstar subscription

Vodafone Idea (Vi) offers only two plans worth Rs 901 and Rs 3,099 with a bundled Disney+Hotstar Mobile subscription. The Rs 901 recharge plan comes with 300GB of data, unlimited talk time, and 100 SMS/day with a validity of 70 days, in addition to free access to the Disney+Hotstar Mobile for one year. Customers also get 8GB extra data, unlimited data from 12 AM – 6 AM, weekend data rollover, data delight, and free access to Vi movies and TV.

The Rs 3,099 recharge plan gives users a subscription to Disney+Hotstar Mobile for a year along with 1.5GB data per day, unlimited talk time and 100 SMSes per day for a validity of one year. Customers recharging their numbers with Rs 3,099 get all the additional benefits mentioned before.
