Redmi K50 Gaming Pro gets regulatory approval, set to hit markets soon
The Redmi K series has been wildly successful in China. The Redmi K40 was in the top 3 best sellers on Singles Day in China. And Xiaomi doesn’t want the wave to slow down anytime soon. The Redmi K50 Pro Gaming edition has been approved by the regulatory authority in China, with the model name L10 (Matisse), according to tipster Digital Chat Station. It is rumoured that the phone will ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, while the standard model is tipped to ship with the Dimensity 7000 SoC.
The tipster also has given other details regarding the smartphone. The phone will have a 120 Hz or 144 Hz OLED display. In terms of optics, the Redmi K50 Gaming Pro will have a 64MP Sony Exmor IMX686 sensor as the primary rear camera instead of the 64MP Omnivision’s OV64B sensor found in the Redmi K40 Gaming. It also has been said that the K50 series might bring back the in-display fingerprint scanners. Furthermore, the tipster confirms that the entire Redmi K50 universe of smartphones may soon kickstart with the initial launch of the Redmi K50 Gaming Pro model.
Globally, the K50 Gaming Pro is expected to launch as the POCO F4 GT, as it has been certified in the EEC certification (spotted by Xiaomiui). The POCO F3 GT was launched in India 6 months ago with Gaming triggers, an aluminium body and with Dimensity 1200. With the Xiaomi 12 series and MIUI 13 just around the corner, Xiaomi is looking forward to a good start in 2022.The post Redmi K50 Gaming Pro gets regulatory approval, set to hit markets soon first appeared on 91mobiles.com.
