New OnePlus 32-inch, 43-inch smart TV models set to launch in India soon

OnePlus has products beyond just smartphones, such as smart TVs, audio, and wearables. The company is currently said to be working on the OnePlus 10 series flagship lineup and the budget OnePlus Nord 2 CE. Now, it appears the company is gearing up to bring two new OnePlus TVs in India soon, according to noted tipster Mukul Sharma citing sources. While the specifications of the OnePlus TV models are unavailable at the moment, Mukul claims they will be available in 32-inch and 43-inch display sizes. We can speculate they will be priced affordably and will run on the latest Google TV OS out of the box.

OnePlus currently has three TV series, the Q lineup for flagships, the Y-series for budget, and the U-series for mid-range. We can speculate the upcoming TVs could be placed in the Y-series and will look to take on Realme, Xiaomi, and other smart TVs in the segment. While the exact launch timeline hasn’t been revealed by Mukul at the moment, we’re hoping they might debut in the first half of 2022.

Separately, OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus Nord 2 CE smartphone soon. The handset recently passed by the BIS certification, suggesting an imminent announcement. It will come as a successor to the Nord CE and will come with a 6.4-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor paired with 8GB/128GB, and probably a 256GB option as well. The phone will have a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64MP OmniVision sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE will feature a 16MP selfie shooter. The handset could house a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
