Epic Games Store is offering Control for free as part of its annual Christmas giveaway. The storefront had previously given away Control for free back in June 2021. Players who couldn’t pick up the game in June can now download Control on PC. The critically acclaimed title features a mind-bending story, trippy visuals, and a strange mystery to unearth. Control has been well-received by fans across the globe and developer Remedy Entertainment has released two expansions so far, The Foundation and AWE.

Control Standard Edition is currently free on Epic Games Store until 9:30 PM today. Meanwhile, Control Ultimate Edition, which contains the base game and the expansions, is currently available at 50 per cent off at Rs 1,509. Control follows Jesse Faden, the new Director of a secretive agency in New York that is invaded by an otherworldly threat. As Jesse, you need to unravel the secrets of the agency alongside other characters and get rid of the supernatural threat. Jesse uses weapons and her abilities to take down enemies in an unpredictable environment. The storytelling, combat, and sound design of Control is fantastic and it truly pulls you in the bizarre world of the game.
