Battlegrounds Mobile India login issues: Krafton investigating login error in BGMI
Battlegrounds Mobile India players have started reporting login issues in the game. The dev team at Krafton has acknowledged the presence of the issue and has started working on fixing it. Players have been seemingly facing this issue in BGMI since yesterday. It should also be noted that the login issue is only affecting certain players, while many can continue to play the game. At the time of writing, BGMI can successfully login my account and start a match. However, for some players, BGMI seems to be unplayable.
In its official statement, Krafton has said, “We have identified some players are experiencing login failure from 21:00 PM, Dec 29 with an error message showing “Server authentication error. Login failed.” We are currently trying to fix the issue and will get back to you as soon as possible when fixed.” Krafton has updated the statement later by saying, “We are continuously trying to find the cause of the issue, but taking time. We will promptly get back to you with a notice once the cause has been found or fixed.” It’s currently unclear when the BGMI login error issue will be fixed.
When Krafton had recently launched PUBG New State, the game had several issues that had been fixed within a few days. Since BGMI isn’t a new launch with multiple bugs, the login issue will hopefully be fixed soon.
