Vi Rs 359, Rs 539, Rs 839 recharges now offer 2GB less data per day

Vodafone Idea is making some changes to its prepaid recharge plans just two days after it hiked their prices in India. The company’s popular Rs 299, Rs 449, and Rs 699 plans now cost Rs 359, Rs 539 and Rs 839, respectively. Just days after the price revision, the telecom giant has reduced the data benefits it offers for the above-mentioned packs. Vi earlier had offered 2GB + 2GB (additional bonus) data with the said prepaid plans but now, these plans only offer 2GB of data, which is a step-down. This change is already reflecting on the Vi website and should also change on third-party recharge portals as well. However, the rest of the benefits remain unchanged.

The Rs 359 Vi prepaid plan offers 2GB of data per day, 100 SMS each day, unlimited calling to any network, and 28 days validity. Additional, benefits include unlimited data usage from 12am to 6am, weekend data rollover, up to 2GB of data backup every month, and access to Vi Movies & TV Classic.

The Rs 539 prepaid plan is valid for 56 days and offers 2GB data per day, 100 SMSes each day, unlimited calling to any network, and unlimited data from 12am to 6am. Along with that, subscribers will get weekend data rollover, up to 2GB of data backup every month, and access to Vi Movies & TV Classic.

Rs 839 Vi recharge

The benefits of the Rs 839 Vi recharge are similar to that of Rs 539 plan, but with 84 days validity. It offers the same 2GB data per day, unlimited calls to any network, 100 SMSes per day, and access to Vi Movies & TV Classic. The telecom network is offering Binge All Night, weekend data rollover, and 2GB data backup every month.

As said, changes to the three plans are already reflected on the Vi website. In addition to the price hike, it looks like Vi is taking back the additional data benefits it used to offer earlier.
