Lava last month made an announcement regarding the launch of its first-ever 5G smartphone in India. The Lava Agni 5G has launched today with a price tag of Rs 19,999, for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It’s the company’s first 5G phone in the market. The smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch 90Hz LCD display, 64MP primary camera, a 5000mAh battery, and a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. It competes against the already crowded section of sub 20,000 smartphones, where all major OEMs are providing pretty good 5G smartphones with great hardware.

The Realme 8s 5G has a triple camera rear setup with a 16MP front camera for selfies. The device comes in either 6GB or 8GB of RAM configuration. Both variants have 128GB of storage which is expandable using the dedicated microSD card slot. Realme also has a Virtual RAM feature that lets you use 5GB of storage to extend RAM. You get a 5,000mAh battery and a 33W charger in the box. It carries a price tag starting from Rs 17,999 for the 6GB RAM variant. 2. iQOO Z3

The iQOO Z3 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G, a mid-range chipset that surprisingly makes it to this affordable smartphone and is the device’s main selling point. It comes with a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary camera that performs well in daylight but suffers in low light. The 4,400mAh battery though charges 100 percent in just 60 minutes using the included 55W charging adapter.

Its waterdrop chin though feels slightly outdated in today’s times, but the display is pretty accurate in providing accurate colours. The 120Hz LCD panel is also useful for gamers thanks to its 180Hz touch sampling rate and competent chipset. It starts with a price tag of Rs 19,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. 3. Redmi Note 10T 5G

The Redmi Note 10T is the first 5G phone in the Redmi Note series by Xiaomi in India. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display that offers Full HD+ (2400×1080 pixels) resolution and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, which is an octa-core CPU and is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage with an option to add a micro SD card for storage expansion.

There is a 48MP primary camera on the back along with a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.   The front side has a punch-hole notch cutout for the 8MP selfie camera upfront and is topped with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint reader and the Redmi Note 10T is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. 4. Realme X7

The Realme X7 5G features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ resolution Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole notch cutout. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset with a Mali-G57 GPU. This is paired with up to 8GB RAM and a single 128GB storage option to choose from. The smartphone consists of a primary 64MP camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera. The Realme X7 has a 4,310mAh battery that supports 50W fast charging out-of-the-box. It retails for 19,999 for the 6GB RAM variant. 5. Samsung Galaxy M32 5G

The Samsung Galaxy M32 5G was launched in India in August. It comes with an HD+ TFT  6.5 inch display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. This is a compelling 5G phone is as users will get 12 5G bands, which means all the commonly used 5G bands worldwide will be supported by the handset. Also, a big battery of 5000mAh will help in all day running of the device even with a heavy workload with 15W charging support. The device comes with MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G chipset, with two RAM options of 6GB and 8GB respectively. The 48MP quad-camera also helps in capturing decent daylight photos. The device usually retails for Rs 20,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, though users can get it for much less with bank offers on Samsung’s website or Amazon.
