OPPO Reno 7 series might not get a ‘Pro Plus’ model

The OPPO Reno series is quite popular worldwide due to its beautiful design and flagship hardware inside it. The OPPO Reno 6 series received a good reception here in India, and now it appears that the company is working on its successor, the Reno 7 series. Earlier it was expected that the Reno 7 series could consist of the OPPO Reno 7, OPPO Reno 7 Pro, and the OPPO Reno 7 Pro Plus. OPPO introduced the Pro Plus model with the Reno5 series last year and that continued with the Reno 6 Pro Plus earlier this year. But according to some latest leaks, OPPO Reno 7 Pro Plus may not launch.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station (via MySmartPrice), the OPPO Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro are quite improved compared to their predecessors. The tipster also adds that the prototypes of the vanilla and Pro variants include a lot more improvements in display and camera departments. He further adds that he hasn’t heard about the Reno 7 Pro Plus model till now, hence according to him the OPPO Reno 7 Pro Plus may not exist at all.
We earlier told you about the Reno 7 camera specifications, and it should be quite similar to the OPPO Reno 6 in terms of the design and metal frames on the side. The smartphone could come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 chipset. As stated previously the smartphone should come with a 50MP Sony IMX 766 camera sensor measuring 1/1.56″ in size and a notification LED ring around the camera.
The OPPO Reno 7 Pro could also come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor like the OPPO Reno 6 Pro. We will have more information about all the devices in Reno 7 series when the launch draws closer, so stay tuned for that.
