Moto E40 India launch date is confirmed to be October 12th and the phone will be exclusively available via Flipkart. The company has teased the design of the phone, showing off the polycarbonate build, a triple-camera setup on the back and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Considering it is the company’s E-series phone, we expect it will be available at around Rs 10,000 price tag. It will be available in two colours: Pink and Black. Interestingly the Moto E40 specifications were revealed via a Romanian website, as spotted by noted tipster Roland Quandt.

According to the listing, the Moto E40 is said to sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout and probably a 60Hz refresh rate. It is said to pack a 4000mAh battery with 10W standard charging support and boot Android 11 (Go Edition) out of the box. The phone is expected to have a stock Android skin with no ads or bloatware. The phone could have a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack and possibly an extra button for Google Assistant. The phone is said to be powered by the Unisoc T700 SoC paired with 4GB RAM, but there could be other options at launch.

The Moto E40 is said to feature a triple rear camera module, with a 48MP primary camera paired with a couple of 2MP depth and macro lenses. However, the listing doesn’t mention details regarding the front-facing camera and other features. Connectivity options could include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. We should know more details about the phone when it launches next week. Stick around.
