Vivo’s upcoming flagship series, Vivo X70, is all set to debut on September 9th. A few days before its official unveiling, two models of the Vivo X70 smartphone appeared on TENNA, revealing some key specifications. The smartphones with model numbers V2132A and V2133A were spotted on TENNA with similar specifications, but both of them were powered by different SoCs. A 2.8GHz octa-core processor powered the model number V2132A, whereas a 3.0GHz octa-core processor powered V2133A. The V2132A model is expected to be run on an Exynos processor, while V2132A could be running on Dimensity 1200 SoC. Vivo is expected to launch three phones under the X70 series – Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+.
As per the TENNA listing, both the Vivo X70 models feature a 6.58-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2376 pixels and an in-display fingerprint sensor. A 4,320mAh battery is present on the V2132A and V2133A, supporting 44W fast charging. Both the devices measure 160.10mm x 75.39mm x 7.55m and weigh 181 grams, which tells us they are the same model.
The V2132A showed up with a 2.8GHz octa-core processor paired with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the V2133A was spotted with a 3.0GHz octa-core processor and 8GB / 12GB of RAM. The 2.8GHz octa-core processor is expected to be the Exynos 1080 SoC, whereas the 3.0GHz octa-core processor could be the Dimensity 1200 chipset. Both the variants were seen with three storage options – 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. These models run Android 11.
The Vivo X70 series is set to arrive globally on September 10th, a day after its launch in China. The global variants are expected to run Origin OS out of the box instead of FuntouchOS.
