Kaza Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mahendra Pratap Singh inaugurated the EV charging station set up by goEgoNetwork. The station was set up with Bharat AC and Dual Socket Type 2 charger and is located at 3,800m or 12,467ft above sea level, making it the world’s highest EV charging station. SDM Mahendra Pratap Singh believes that such drives would encourage localities to put their faith in EVs and adopt them quicker which would help reduce carbon footprint in the mountains which are ecologically sensitive.
