Nothing Ear 1 launch date officially revealed, will go on sale in India through Flipkart
Former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has been drumming up hype for his Nothing brand for quite some time. The company has, on several occasions, teased its first-ever product, the Nothing Ear 1. Very little is known about the TWS earbuds’ specifics, other than the fact that it will be transparent. Now, Nothing has formally sent out invites for the Nothing Ear 1 launch date, which is July 27th at 14:00 BST (18:30 IST). Thankfully, we’ll get to buy the Nothing Ear 1 at the same time as everyone else, as discovered by a recent Flipkart teaser.

Initially, Nothing was expected to launch the Nothing Ear 1 TWS earbuds in June 2021. Its delayed launch doesn’t come as much of a surprise. The global semiconductor shortage has indirectly resulted in other secondary peripherals going out of stock, possibly forcing Nothing to delay the TWS Earbuds’ launch. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, though, as it would give Nothing some more time to get its first-ever product picture perfect for the market and even give it some more time to make the launch an unforgettable one.
With Carl Pei at the helm, we can expect Nothing to pull off OnePlus-like market-disrupting shenanigans. Furthermore, Nothing is a new company in a market flooded with TWS earbuds, so it has to stand out from the crowd. While it is hard to prophesise just what the Nothing Ear 1 will offer in terms of specifications, we can expect it to ship with high-end features such as support for Qualcomm’s aptX codec, ANC, ENC, a low-latency mode for gamers, and the likes.
