Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite support pages go live in India, launch seems imminent
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite support pages have gone live on the Samsung India website, suggesting an imminent launch in the counrty. The tablet will be available in two variants – SM-T225 and SM-T220 – which are probably Wi-Fi-only and 4G LTE models. Besides the model number, not much else is revealed about the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite from the support pages. The tablet was earlier spotted on the FCC certification and the listing revealed it will ship with dual-band Wi-Fi and a relatively smaller 5,100mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is said to measure 212.53mm in length and 124.7mm in width and a screen diagonal length of 246.41mm, meaning it might ship with a 9.7-inch display.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 sports a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ TFT display with 2000×1200 pixel resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The tablet runs Android 10 OS with OneUI custom skin on top. As for cameras, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 has an 8MP sensor on the back and a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 supports Dolby Atmos surround sound and packs quad speakers. It packs a 7,040mAh battery and features a Knox security system to keep the data safe. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, and USB 2.0 Type-C. It measures 247.6x 157.4 x 7.0mm and weighs 476g (Wi-Fi) and 477 grams (LTE).
