POCO M3 Pro design confirmed through official teaser ahead of May 19th launch
Thanks to a slew of leaks that kept pouring in, we know pretty much most of what there is to know about the POCO M3 Pro 5G. There isn’t much left to the imagination, given that it is essentially a Redmi Note 10 5G in a new body. Yes, the POCO M3 Pro 5G will come with a unique new design language and looks different from the Redmi phone that it shares its specifications with. It reconfirms earlier reports, which prophesized that the smartphone would come with a two-tone finish on the back, complete with the POCO branding. POCO also adds that the POCO M3 Pro is 8.92mm thin and weighs 192 grams, putting it on the lighter end of the spectrum. POCO M3 Pro 5G price and complete specs will be revealed on May 19th.
POCO M3 Pro 5G specifications
We found out earlier that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will ship with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. Its 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD screen has a refresh rate of 90Hz. Memory and storage could max out at 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Lastly, the POCO M3 Pro 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 18W. A 3.5mm headphone jack will be included, too.

Moving on to optics, the POCO M3 Pro 5G will likely come with three rear camera sensors, including a 48MP primary sensor (there’s some branding that highlights this too), a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. An 8MP sensor will handle selfies and video calls, Other POCO M3 features may include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. An under-display solution is out of the question, given that the phone uses an LCD screen.
