The Vivo V21 5G smartphone has been launched in India today as the latest affordable 5G-capable handset in the country. Vivo V21 5G had launched in Malaysia a couple of days ago. While the company had also launched the Vivo V21e in the Malaysian market, the smartphone has not made it to the Indian shores. Coming back to the Vivo V21 5G, as the name suggests, it features 5G connectivity and is the most affordable 5G smartphone from the brand in the Indian market, though other companies offer 5G phones at much lower prices in the country. The Vivo V21 5G price in India is Rs 29,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration, while the 8GB + 256GB option costs Rs 32,990. The smartphone will go on sale in India from May 6th at 12pm IST, while pre-orders commence on April 29th. The handset comes to India in two colour options, namely Sunset Dazzle and Dusk Blue. It will be available to purchase exclusively via Flipkart in India. The e-commerce website is offering a 5 percent discount on the Vivo V21 5G if you make the payment using the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card.

The Vivo V21 5G sports a 6.44-inch display with AMOLED technology. It has a Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Unlike most smartphones nowadays that come with a punch-hole on their screen, the display of the Vivo V21 5G has a U-shaped notch.
Powering the Vivo V21 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor. This chipset has 7nm nodes, 2x Cortex-A76 CPU cores, 6x Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. As for the rear cameras, the Vivo V21 5G has a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Even the primary camera at the rear can record 4K video at 30 frames per second.
The Vivo V21 5G packs a 4,000mAh battery and it supports 33W charging. Vivo claims that the phone can charge its empty battery to 63 percent in 30 minutes. In terms of connectivity, the Vivo V21 5G has dual-SIM 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
