Nokia X20, Nokia X10 launched with Snapdragon 480 5G SoC, Android 11, and more
HMD Global has finally launched the much-rumoured Nokia X20 and Nokia X10. These are the latest affordable 5G smartphones from the manufacturer. They’ve been announced alongside the Nokia G series and the Nokia C series budget smartphones. The new Nokia X-series phones use the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset and run a clean Android 11, with the promise of three years of system and security updates for these devices. The phones feature ZEISS optics and a punch-hole FHD+ display on the front. The company did not reveal the prices of the Nokia phones during the launch event. Nokia X20 specifications
The Nokia X20 is powered by the Snapdragon 480 processor, which offers 5G connectivity as well. You may configure the phone with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. A microSD card slot is available for storage expansion. The phone features a 6.67-inch punch-hole display with FHD+ resolution and 450 nits brightness. The punch-hole cutout houses a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
At the rear, you get a quad-camera setup with ZEISS optics. The primary camera is a 64-megapixel sensor, paired with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and dual 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro. The device houses a 4,470mAh battery with fast charging support and gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Nokia X10 specifications
The Nokia X10 has pretty much the same specifications as the Nokia X20, except for the camera setup. It’s also powered by the Snapdragon 480 chipset, has the same 6.67-inch FHD+ punch-hole display, and houses a 4,470mAh battery as well. Notably, the Nokia X10 and Nokia X20 phones will not ship with bundled wall chargers in the EU regions.
The difference remains in the rear camera setup, the selfie camera, and the RAM/storage configurations. The phone is available with 4GB RAM/128GB storage, 6GB RAM/64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. In the camera department, the phone gets a 48-megapixel primary rear camera. It shares the other sensors with the Nokia X20. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel unit housed in the cutout. Other features such as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and connectivity remain similar between the two devices.
