iQOO 7 Legend price in India has been announced on Monday. And as expected you have an affordable flagship phone for under Rs 40,000 with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. This means buyers now have two great Snapdragon 888 phones under Rs 40,000 – the iQOO 7 Legend and Mi 11X Pro. iQOO 7 Legend 5G specs include a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 48MP triple camera, and 66W fast charging. The device comes with an on-screen fingerprint sensor, a unique design finish and a punch-hole camera on the front. Here’s a quick comparison between iQOO 7 Legend and Mi 11X Pro to give you a clear idea of what the two flagships offer.

iQOO 7 Legend price in India starts from Rs 39,990 for the 8GB+128GB variant. It goes up to Rs 43,990 for the 12GB+256GB model. The phone will be available in Storm Black and Solid Ice Blue colours. On the other hand, Mi 11X Pro base variant with 8GB+128GB costs you Rs 39,999, and the higher 12GB+256GB model is priced at Rs 41,999. The phone will be available in Magical Celestial Silver, Lunar White, and Cosmic Black.

iQOO 7 Legend vs Mi 11X Pro: specifications

Both iQOO 7 Legend and the Mi 11X Pro are the first two devices in India to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset in the sub-40,000 segment. You can buy either of these phones with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage, that is non-expandable. iQOO 7 Legend runs on Android 11-based Funtouch OS version, while the Mi 11X Pro gets the reliable MIUI 12 version built over Android 11.



iQOO 7 Legend packs a 4,400mAh battery and the Indian variant of this phone supports 66W fast charging out of the box. Whereas the Mi 11X Pro features a slightly bigger 4,520mAh battery but with support for 33W fast charging which is slower than what you get from iQOO. Besides that, iQOO 7 Legend gives you an on-screen fingerprint sensor, while Mi 11X Pro gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. In terms of connectivity, both the devices offer 5G, Wi-Fi 6, 4G LTE, GPS and USB Type C for charging and data transfer. It is also worth pointing out that iQOO 7 Legend supports Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC well, while Mi 11X Pro gets Bluetooth 5.1 but misses out on NFC.

iQOO 7 Legend vs Mi 11X Pro: display and design

iQOO 7 Legend sports a 6.62-inch punch-hole AMOLED display, that supports FHD+ resolution at 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and offers 1300nits peak brightness. The punch-hole cutout sits at the top-centre of the screen, which comes with built-in fingerprint sensor. Both the power button and volume rocker are on the right. At the back, the triple camera setup is placed inside a square-shaped module on the top-left and below that you have the LED flash.



Mi 11X Pro also features a punch-hole camera on the front. Mi 11X Pro flaunts a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. The volume rocker and power button sit on the right of the phone, with the fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button on the side. Mi 11X Pro also gets a triple camera setup at the back, placed inside a square module along with an LED flash.

iQOO 7 Legend comes with a triple-camera setup at the back with a 48MP primary Sony IMX598 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FoV, and a 13MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP front shooter for selfies and video calling.



While Mi 11X Pro also features a triple cameras on the back, but comprises of a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV, and a 5MP telemacro sensor. This phone gets a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.

iQOO 7 Legend vs Mi 11X Pro: verdict

iQOO 7 Legend and Mi 11X Pro go head-to-head in the affordable flagship segment with the sub-40K devices that are powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. Most of their features are similar, which includes the Android version, RAM/storage, display quality and more. Both the phones support AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate which has become the norm in this segment. But while Mi 11X Pro packs a larger 4,520mAh battery than the iQOO 7 Legend with 4,400mAh unit, the latter gives you 66W fast charging support compared to Mi 11X Pro’s 33W fast charging.

On the imaging front, most people will find the 108MP triple rear camera on the Mi 11X Pro to be more effective than the 48MP triple camera at the back of the iQOO 7 Legend. But since we are yet to test either of the phones, we will reserve our judgment till then. On the whole, it’s a close fight between iQOO 7 Legend and Mi 11X Pro and it all comes down to which of these devices fits your requirement.
