OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro spotted at 3C, specifications revealed
OnePlus officially confirmed some key OnePlus 9 Pro specs a few days ago. We know quite a bit about its camera configuration and what sensors it will use thanks to the said report. The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro have now appeared on 3C. The listing has essentially confirmed what earlier leaks told us about their charging wattage, which is set at 65W. It also sheds some light on how the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 will work with some third-party fast chargers. While the charger included in the box will be able to hit the full 65W, USB Power Data Objects (PDO) and USB Programmable Power Supply (PPS) compliant chargers will only operate at 45W. This is important while buying an external charger for your smart devices, not just smartphones.
The official OnePlus India Twitter handle also confirmed other OnePlus 9 specifications via a new Tweet. For starters, LPDDR5 RAM is confirmed, as is a 120Hz screen. It also mentions a 50MP Sony IMX 789 camera sensor, which will likely be the primary lens. 4K 120 FPS video recording is confirmed too. A leak from earlier hinted that the OnePlus 9 Pro could do 8K 30 FPS, too. We will have to wait and see if that is the case.
While the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro 3C listing doesn’t explicitly mention the battery capacity, we have learned on several occasions that both phones will feature a 4,500mAh cell. Wireless charging support would most likely be included, just like most recent phones from the brand, but we’ve heard nothing about it just yet.
